O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) Showing On: Netflix Genre: Comedy, Music, Adventure Haven’t really written much about anything I’ve seen recently, because not much I’ve been watching has really been worth writing about. But I saw this and thought it looked half decent. Turns out it was one of the best things I’ve watched in a while! Its set in the 1930’s, 3 guys break out of a prison camp and go off on their adventure! I guess I may have a soft spot for it as it was set in the 30’s. I like their accents, their basic clothes, their way of life and te god damn awesome music that is played frequently throughout. The music actually made me feel pretty happy! But it is very funny at parts and all the characters are equally as great, definitely watch if you’re looking through Netflix trying to find something. Now I’m just going to see of I can download the soundtrack for this film..
