Half Nelson (2006) Showing on: Lovefilm Instant Genre: DramaThis film is one that I’ve contemplated watching in the past but never actually got round to seeing. It’s about a junior city high teacher in New York who lives his life as a junkie and finds his motivation for life through the class of students he teaches. I did enjoy watching this film, it’s not one I would run to see anytime soon but I do not regret watching it and i guess you could say that I found it to be slightly inspirational.. to a point. Not to mention the fact that Ryan Gosling is an incredibly good actor who plays his character remarkably well. On a side note, if you were not already aware, Ryan Gosling sings in a band called Dead man’s bones.
